| Creating the Perfect Day |
Start the Night Before: As you are lying in bed before you go to sleep concentrate on the thought, "today is a wonderful day" for at least 30 seconds. Notice, as you are lying in bed how your body begins to feel as you concentrate on this thought. Then, as you are still thinking the thought today is a wonderful day, imagine that you have just woken up the next morning. Imagine how you feel as you wake up believing the thought "today is a wonderful day". What kinds of things do you want to do today? Think about your goals, and even new goals that you want to set for yourself. Feel the sensations in your body as you get out of bed while you believe this thought. Watch yourself go about your daily activities and continue to believe today is a wonderful day. Look at yourself from a distance, what is your face doing? Pay attention to how your body might move. What is your mood and attitude like? What is your energy like when you do whatever it is that you do? When you talk to others what do you want to say to them? What do you want to talk about? What does your voice sound like? What kinds of people do you want to socialize with? What kinds of goals do you set for yourself when you believe this thought? Notice what others might experience as they look at your face and your bodily expression. How might they interact with you? How do you talk to others? What are you conversations like? How do you influence others? Do you have a tendency to inspire others? How often do you laugh and smile? Just allow yourself to watch how you live as you believe this thought until you fall asleep. When you wake up in the morning do the same process and when you feel comfortable get out of bed and have a perfect day. Make it a point to hold in mind this thought for 30 seconds at least 3 times during the day. When you do this, you condition yourself for success. Write down what you did during the day and some things that happened to you from believing this thought. Write down how your body responded to you believing this thought? Write down the feelings that arose in your body, and what your face looked like as long as you continued to believe this thought. Lastly, write down all the benefits of believing this thought. Pay attention to all the wonderful and great things that you do for others, how quickly you reach your goals, and how others respond to you. Remember that your actions, behaviors, facial and bodily expressions, imagination and results are the servants to the thought believed. When you believe on purpose the thought "today is a wonderful day", you will have no choice but do the actions, facial and bodily expressions, feelings, and produce results that this thought is designed to produce once it is activated.
